FC Elite NCSL D6 Champs
Herndon FC Elite, fueled by their 1st place finish at the Dulles National tournament, looked to build on their early success in their first season with Total Futbol.  They would do so in NCSL Division 6, a season in which they got off to a flying start.
Winning their first three games by a combined scored of 9-2, FC Elite bolted out of the gate to the top of the league.  Their next two games saw the only regression in form over the season, as the group suffered defeat for the first time and also settled for a tie the following week.  Herndon responded quickly to the setbacks to win their next three matches of the season.
Those results set-up a de facto championship game with Herndon facing Cugini Calciomania 00 in the final game of the season.  Cugini entered the match with a two-point lead over FC Elite, and a win or a draw for them would have sustained this position.  Knowing that they needed a win for their first ever division championship, the FC Elite boys responded.  They came away with a 4-2 victory to vault themselves into first place in their division.  Overall for the season they finished 7-1-1, had the second most goals scored in the division and lead the league in goals against.
