Spring 2016 Washington Post All-Met Teams

Dacheka Kolcum (#21 in the photos above), a sophomore at Tuscarora High School, won All-Met Honorable Mention honors (along with All-Conference, All-State and All-Region nods) for helping her team advance to the VHSL 5A State Championship game for the first time in program history. She plays Club soccer for the Herndon United 99 team, coached by Total Futbol Assistant Director Todd Hamlin. 
Four players coached by Total Futbol earned 2016 Spring All-Met honors from The Washington Post's sports writers for Girls’ high school soccer. The Post collected nominations from over 250 high schools across the DC Region and then selected the Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, 1st, 2nd, and Honorable Mention Best Teams for nine different sports.
Since the Fall of 2012, players coached by Total Futbol have won All-Met honors for their contributions to local high school soccer teams 38 times, including two "Player of the Year" awards, 10 First Team awards, 10 Second Team awards and 16 Honorable Mention awards.
The following players won All-Met soccer honors for Spring 2016:
All-Met First Team:
Claire Constant FORWARD T.C. Williams / Sophomore: "Served as a catalyst as the Titans won their first Conference 7 title and advanced to the Virginia state tournament for the first time in school history."
