Clare Constant (shown middle above, in white shirt and black hairband), a rising star on McLean Youth Soccer's U16 ECNL team, coached by Total Futbol Director Nadir Moumen, was honored twice this summer. First, she was selected as one of only 80 ECNL players nationwide (from birth years 1997, 1998 and 1999) to train and compete at the 2015 Nike National Training Camp Powered by ECNL/id2. Second, she was named as one of the top 11 players at the event after being evaluated by the elite coaching staff during the 5-day camp. As part of the training, players competed in games against older regional select teams and several matches were played at Providence Park, home of the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns.

U.S. Youth Soccer National Team coaches were also in attendance at the camp, which took place at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, OR, from July 28 - August 1, and were scouting players for possible inclusion in US Youth National Team programming. Players were carefully selected to attend the camp based on their performances at ECNL competitions and other events throughout the year.
