Players Selected for Fall 2015 Washington Post All-Met Teams


Six Total Futbol players have received 2014 Fall All-Met honors from The Washington Post sports writers for Girls’ High School Soccer. The Post collected nominations from over 250 high schools across the DC Region and then selected the Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, 1st, 2nd, and Honorable Mentions Best Teams.
The following Total Futbol players earned All-Met honors for Fall 2014:

All-Met First Team:

Lauren Harkes MIDFIELDER O'Connell / Senior: Repeat All-Met was the steady spark in the center of the Knights' offense, recording four goals and seven assists. All-American will play at Clemson.
Team: McLean Force ECNL '96

Sammie Scaffidi MIDFIELDER St. John's / Senior: WCAC player of the year posted 14 goals and 14 assists for the Cadets, including a goal and an assist in the DCSAA championship game. Will play at St. John's.
