Total Futbol Expands Operations

Adds Logistical Support for Key Functions, including Camps & Special Events

March 17, 2015 – Total Futbol (TF) is excited to announce the addition of three new staff members to expand operations and allow its principals to enhance their focus on their primary mission: developing players, coaches and Clubs in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. The three new hires will lead TF’s camp programs, coordinate special events, and provide increased administrative support.

“We're looking to grow the programs that are offered to each team and make our operations more efficient with this expansion,” explained TF Assistant Director Todd Hamlin. “Additionally, it will free up time for us to grow Total Futbol in new directions and help us continue building our coaching staff.”

Emily Madden will serve as Camp Director and oversee all aspects of TF residential and day camp programs, including logistics and non-soccer program content and supervision. As players in the area have increasingly recognized the benefits of off-season training for fitness, technical skills and team building, demand for camps has grown steadily, creating a need for greater operational support. Longtime TF Camp Director Fadia Hawa will continue to support camp programming, but this shift will allow her to focus on coaching and non-administrative aspects of the summer sessions.

Shirl Sayadian joins TF as Event Coordinator, overseeing special events including an annual golf tournament/end of season banquet and a charitable function each Fall around Thanksgiving. She will also assist individual teams with fundraising activities (i.e., Paisano’s night). The growing network of TF teams and families can now join together for events that both celebrate our players and give back to the local community.

Finally, Lisa Natanson will perform various administrative tasks for Total Futbol, including program organization, communications, and team financial tracking.  Her presence will streamline the operational side of the organization, providing even greater value for our teams and their players.
