Total Futbol (TF) is proud to launch a new partnership with True Athlete Performance (TrueAP) in order to provide its players with access to convenient, high quality speed and agility training.
Due to the demands that travel soccer places on student athletes, supplemental training is increasingly critical for preventing injuries and enhancing performance. Many TF athletes have trained with TrueAP in recent years and achieved outstanding results. As a result, TF has taken the step of formalizing a partnership in order to deliver these benefits across all of its teams and age groups.
“Our goal is to provide a convenient speed and agility training program for our players which is integrated into our full coaching curriculum,” said TF Director Nadir Moumen. “We'll be working closely with the TrueAP trainers, not only to improve physical traits based on a player's age and ability, but to make strides in injury prevention for them as well.”
“For our players, we expect that the improvements they see in fitness test results will serve as a motivator for them to continue to push themselves outside of regular training,” he added.
Speed and agility training for U11-U14 players will begin March 18 and extend through May 20. Sessions will be held at Arrowbrook Park (2351 Field Point Rd in Herndon, VA). The TrueAP offerings will serve as a vital supplement to team practices and games, but will not replace any of the regular coaching curriculum for players.
